Well I’m getting a issue here -.-
Please upgrade cPanel to version 11.25 or above
Why do I get this issue ?
I never had it.
My Cpanel version is : 11.26
Upgrade you cPanel Build to current or follow this post http://nginxcp.com/2010/10/how-to-install-nginx-admin-v1-4-in-cpanel-11-26-x/
**change nginxadmin1.4-stable.tar with nginxadmin1.5-stable.tar in this port
i got the following error upon restarting nginx after installation:
Restarting nginx daemon:
[emerg]: bind() to 217.23.1.213:80 failed (99: Cannot assign requested address)
already running.
we have just recently changed our main IP address, how can we change it manually on nginx as nginx will not work and gives us the following error:
bind() to 217.23.1.50 failed (99: Cannot assign requested address)
and our new main ip address is now 217.23.1.51
Just uninstall nginx admin and reinstall.
same thing happens. 🙁
anyhow its working fine now. Thanks admin. 😀
Any way to have this script upgrade itself instead of keep re-installing it every time an update occurs please ?
We will try in future release.
When install NginxAdmin 1.5 issue with multiple ip address
I use 2 Ip Address Zone 1 and Zone 2
Appox 50% Webstie Zone 1 and 50% of Website on Zone 2
It’s very slower compare with Default Apache 2.2 from cPanel
I think Its your system related issue. Check your settings.
I’m seeing this error after install:
Restarting nginx daemon: nginx[emerg]: bind() to 173.203.114.190:80 failed (99: Cannot assign requested address) already running.
But that IP address is nto on my server! It’s a softlayer IP address, and my server is nowhere near softlayer!
Its look like one of your site dns is pointing to this IP. (maybe some site redirecting via A record)
Check your dns zones. And also search this IP in your httpd.conf
after install nginx admin everything look fine
but apache status from WHM does not work
Failed to receive status information from Apache.
Unable to connect to local httpd server.
This is cPanel issue with cpanel 11.26, Upgrade your cpanel to 11.28 will solve this issue.

This issue is already addressed many times, please see other comments.
Upon installing this, it seems logs have stopped working now and all domlogs in /usr/local/apache/domlogs/ are 0kb in size (last modified around the time of installation).
Please can you advise?
Cheers.
I have new error when i restart apache
“www.mydomain.com” on 00.00.00.00:80, ignored
00.00.00.00 it’s my IP
what does that mean and how can i fix it ?
No, I do get the same error whenever I restart apache..
“[emerg]: bind() to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:80 failed (98: Address already in use)”.
I tried reinstalling but nothing changed, same error without playing with httpd.conf or anything else but restarting.

There is a problem with the configations files the installer has generated on my system. I can’t restart or reload the service without errors plus I get dozens of cpanel notifications flooding my email. I had to uninstall.
what notifications you are receiving?

Its look like your server config issue. You can contact us via msn at 9xlinux@live.com
This error is because the rebuild apache config is still in progress. just wait 30-60 seconds and restart nginx again.
To solve the binding problem with cpanel 11.28.35 (at least) you should:
– Go to Main >> Server Configuration >> Tweak Settings
– Change “Apache non-SSL IP/port ” to 0.0.0.0:8081 instead of 0.0.0.0:80
– Restart Apache and nginx
hello
Uber Uploader is activated using the nginx server, but I receive error””Flength Error, estimated that if the software running cgi-bin perl to extra running, but running a perl cgi and nginx. Is it due to a problem I wonder?
i have some site that has dedicated IP will nginx will automatically configure itself on with their respective dedicated IP or needs to be modified manually?
Hello! I installed your nginx plugin, but I have multiple IP, but found that part of the IP is not available, I checked the ip monitor I’ve seen it, but can not be used.
I have not understand your issue,
Are you asking about Dedicated IPes?
Nginx can easily work with all dedicated IPs automaticaly.
No, I mean I have multiple IP-based servers, but some IP is not available, I checked the ip monitor to see the domain name, but can not access.

After a while installing nginx with user name and password on all sites entered in the 500 internal server error warning the encounter, we took the hard restart, but after looking up the problem this entry begins again, what can we do for it ?
First uninstall Nginx Admin,
Go to Main >> Server Configuration >> Tweak Settings
under System tab change Apache non-SSL IP/port to 8081 and then install again
After setting up nginx, nginx i want to start the nginx does not start and I get an error like below, I did compile apache, nginx setup again but did not improve.
Error code
[emerg]: invalid server name or wildcard “www.*.xxxxx.com” on 18x.xxx.xxx.xx:80
already running.
The standard wildcard format is *.xxxx.com, the www.*.xxxxx.com is wrong.
Remove this wildcard entry and reinstall again.
I try to install hangup problem.same problem at uninstall pls give one way.

Hello,
I have problem when try to disable symlink, anyone can tell me how to disable symlink for nginx ? I need do this for security reason as we use nginx on share hosting server. Thanks
Hello
I installed nginx correctly after following some instructions here but i noticed that when i restart nginx, i see lots of errors like this:
nginx: [warn] conflicting server name “xx.xx.xx.211” on xx.xx.xx.211:80, ignored
nginx: [warn] conflicting server name “xx.xx.xx.212” on xx.xx.xx.212:80, ignored
This are all addon IPs i have mapped for particular domains. How can i fix this?
Also i have some errors like this:
nginx: [warn] conflicting server name “www.domain.com” on xx.xx.xx.210:80, ignored
or
nginx: [warn] conflicting server name “*.domain.com” on xx.xx.xx.210:80, ignored
I’ve read the commentaries but didnt found any solution yet.
Thank you
