  • Hi,
    Thanks for the update πŸ™‚
“3- nginx config Updated” what has changed?

  • Alex

Still same error with the :
    File “/scripts/createvhosts.py”, line 163, in ?
    sublist = ydata[‘sub_domains’]
    KeyError: ‘sub_domains’

Even tried to manually change port to 8081 before installing

    • run commands,
      /scripts/upcp –force
      /scripts/checkperlmodules –force –full

Go to tweak setting and hit save
      then reinstall again

This issue is with cpanel and only appears on limited server.

      • Alex

It does generate few vhosts but after a time it gives that sub_domains error. I think it has something to do with some account/s which the vhost generation script doesn’t like or something like that.

  • Renan

How can one contribute to this script?
I would like to help in some way, please contact me.

  • “……deploying booster rockets
    gettin there
    update apache logsconfigure
    Hangup”
Hangup?? That is misleading, perhaps change it to read “installation complete” or something like that?

  • We had the same “hangup” message on three servers, but everything seems to be working OK.

  • Alex

Btw the following problem is not related to that apache port 8081
    File β€œ/scripts/createvhosts.py”, line 163, in ?
    sublist = ydata[‘sub_domains’]
    KeyError: β€˜sub_domain

So any solution for this ?

    • This issue was already observed by some users and was solved this method.
This issue is realted to latest cPanel. inwhich port is not updated by script automaticaly, so both nginx and apache start working on same port.
So need to change port manually and reinstall again.

    hello

I add a new server ip I nginx vhost these changes occurring within, cPanel is the default page, must fix manually. What can we do about it.

  • Drops

    hello

I had a 1.6 version of the performance problem, the load increases and blockages in the meaningless all the problems disappeared when I observed the 1.5 version

    • Nginx Admin 1.6 also use gzip for images, if you have very large and too much images then load maybe increased cause gzip need some CPU power to compress images.

  • xtreamlive

hello, i have noticed that some of the domains seems to online for quite sometime and then offline and then online again after a few minutes, are you also experiencing these issues?

  • Chirag

I get this hangup message. What can I do?

    root@server [/usr/local/src/publicnginx]# ./nginxinstaller install
    /usr/local/src/publicnginx
Welcome to the Nginx Admin installer……Starting Install
    Generating vhosts…
    Installing WHM interface…
    deploying booster rockets
    gettin there
    update apache logsconfigure
    Hangup
    root@server [/usr/local/src/publicnginx]# ./nginxinstaller uninstall
    Hangup

  • I am getting next error when restartinh httpd after installing your plugin:

    unknown directive “gzip_static” nginx

    Any idea maybe?

  • for hangup isue, don’t forget to set Apache “non-SSL IP/port” to “0.0.0.0:8081” on cPanel tweak settings

  • Hi

    Hi There,

Just wanted to know if the uploadprogress module is compiled with this nginx install?? If not, how would we go about add that…??

    Tks in advance.

  • Jeff

Is there anyway to try the uploadprogress module?

  • Jeff

How is my question answered? That is why I asked it… I was simply asking HOW a person would go about adding the uploadprogress module to see if it works since you said it “may or maynot” work….

How is that repeating a question???

If you dont want to answer it just say “we dont know”. How hard is that?

  • get following errors

    can’t create nginx.conf
    etc….

    /usr/local/apache/build/libtool –silent –mode=link gcc -o mod_rpaf-2.0.la -rpath /usr/local/apache/modules -module -avoid-version mod_rpaf-2.0.lo
/usr/local/apache/build/libtool: line 5906: /usr/bin/ar: cannot execute binary file
